Claire Clavel follows her ancestors who have been winegrowers since 1640. Supported by her father and a large team, Claire leads the 198-acre Domaine Clavel, aiming for character, authenticity, and friendliness in their wines.
Appellation: Côtes-du-Rhône White
Region: Southern Rhône Valley
Grape Varieties: 60% Viognier, 20% Grenache, 20% Marsanne
Vineyard: Régulus Côtes du Rhône White is a fresh and expressive Rhône white crafted from vineyards planted on south-facing slopes with a Mediterranean climate.
Winemaking: Cold pre-fermentation maceration at 10–12°C to preserve aromatics, followed by maceration and a slow primary fermentation at 16–18°C to maintain freshness and intensity.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow with golden reflections. Expressive aromas of exotic fruits and white fruits such as pear and peach. The palate is smooth, vibrant, and refreshing, with subtle lemon notes and a clean, elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with coconut curry shrimp, saffron-infused fish, citrus-glazed chicken, and mildly spicy Thai vegetable stir-fries.
