Vineyards: The Grenache vines are 60 years old.
Winemaking: 30% whole cluster fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Maceration lasts 4 to 5 weeks in concrete tanks. Aged 12 months in neutral French demi-muids. Yield: ~25 hl/ha.
Tasting Notes: Bursting with notes of black raspberries, dried flowers, Provençal garrigue, and sandalwood. Medium to full-bodied and elegant on the palate, with refined texture and a persistent finish.
Food Pairing: Perfect with Provençal lamb stew, grilled venison, duck confit with rosemary jus, or a wild mushroom risotto.

“Made entirely from Grenache Noir planted on calcareous, sandy and pebbly soils, the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Catarina, matured 12 months in foudres, evokes aromas of spices, chocolate, flowers, dark berries and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, enveloping and layered, it has a fleshy core of fruit, velvety tannins and a long, delicate finish. This is a great efort.”
