Vintage 2022: 93 Points Wine Advocate
“Made entirely from Grenache Noir planted on calcareous, sandy and pebbly soils, the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Catarina, matured 12 months in foudres, evokes aromas of spices, chocolate, flowers, dark berries and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, enveloping and layered, it has a fleshy core of fruit, velvety tannins and a long, delicate finish. This is a great efort.”
Vintage 2023: 92 Points Wine Advocate
“A pure Grenache Noir, vinified in concrete tanks and matured for 12 months in used large barrels, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Catarina offers up an elegant, fruity bouquet of dark cherries and dark wild berries mingled with delicate floral notes with air. Medium- to full-bodied, round and seamless, it's textured and sweet, with velvety tannins and concluding with a long, fresh and ethereal finish. This is a great effort.”
