The Gaget family has been cultivating vines in Beaujolais since the early 19th century. After settling in Villié-Morgon in 1980, Maurice and Claude Gaget established their estate on the prestigious Côte du Py hillside, later joined by their son Mikaël in 1999. Today, Domaine Gaget covers 11 hectares across Morgon, Fleurie, and Beaujolais, with a focus on sustainability and organic conversion for their white vineyards. The Côte du Py parcel, with its volcanic soils, old vines, and high density plantings, represents the heart of the estate’s production.
Appellation: Morgon Côte du Py
Region: Beaujolais
Grape Variety: 100% Gamay Noir
