Wines J.M Gobillard & Fils - Cuvée Prestige Millésimée Rosé 2014

J.M Gobillard & Fils - Cuvée Prestige Millésimée Rosé 2014

$0.00

Appellation & Region: Champagne

Grape Varieties: 60% Chardonnay - 40% Pinot Noir

Vineyard: Near Épernay in the heart of Champagne, the great village of Hautvillers—birthplace of Dom Pérignon—overlooks the vineyard of J.M. Gobillard Père & Fils. The 61-acre vineyard is a result of traditional know-how, passion, and dynamism, which are the priorities of the family estate. Grapes for this wine are selected at harvest from old vines with low production, situated in the best-exposed mid-slope locations.

Winemaking: After traditional winemaking with plot selection and a short skin maceration, the base wines, which are more concentrated, must successfully pass a blind tasting test to be part of the final blend. The creation of the master Champagne of the Gobillard house is a meticulous process, from the vineyard to the cellar, where the wine ages for at least three years.

Tasting Notes: The nose is refined and expressive. The palate is fresh yet full and intense, harmonizing subtle flavors of red berry fruit. Fine and persistent bubbles lead to a clean and flavorful finish.
