Léon Launois - Cuvée Réservée

$0.00

A non-vintage Champagne assembled from the three principal Champagne grape varieties and incorporating between 20% and 40% reserve wines for consistency and complexity. It offers a complex nose with stone fruit notes and a structured palate. Ideal for aperitifs and receptions.

Appellation & Region: Champagne

Grape Varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier

Winemaking: Handpicked and pressed close to the vineyard before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. The blend contains 20–40% reserve wines and is matured for 18–24 months in dark cellars maintained at 12°C. A Brut dosage of 9 g/L is added to preserve freshness, fruit character, and balance.

Tasting Notes: The nose is high-toned, showing lemon tart, quince paste, green pear, and a light bergamot florality. The palate is elegant and nearly weightless, with fine chalky-saline minerality set against a soft layer of orchard fruit. A delight to enjoy now” From Wine Enthusiast

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with fresh oysters, seared scallops, grilled lobster with lemon butter, and aged Comté or Parmesan.
