Wines Trombetta - Chardonnay Four Brothers

Trombetta - Chardonnay Four Brothers

$0.00

Limited production wines by mother-and-daughter duo Rickey Trombetta Stancliff and Erica Stancliff. Clones of Chardonnay exemplify the rich minerality, soils and cool weather of the Sonoma Coast, resulting in a beautifully balanced wine, enhancing every meal. Each bottle has been hand harvested and hand produced.

Region: Sonoma Coast

Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay

Vineyard: On the Four Brothers vineyard, selected clones of Chardonnay were planted 15 years ago on a rocky sandy loam soil, located in the Northeastern side of Sonoma Mountain. Yield is voluntary controlled at 2 tons per acre.

Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested by night and immediately pressed. The fermentation takes place in barrel with native yeast, then the wine is aged for 8 months on lees in French oak barrels.

Food pairing: This wine will match any chicken or vegetable-based dish and will be delightful along with mushrooms risotto.

Ratings:

Vintage 2016: 93 points Wine Advocate & Jeb Dunnuck and 92 points Wine Enthusiast

Vintage 2015: 92 points Wine Advocate and 91 points Wine Enthusiast
